Creating a dynamic identity system to build team spirit in the Viaduct Harbour.
Viaduct Harbour looked to encourage support of international rugby with a colourful celebration of team spirit. Each of the top 20 teams were represented by unique geometric interpretations of their national flag or jersey to produce a vibrant campaign aesthetic. A unique grid provided consistency across graphic elements and allowed artwork to extend for narrower communications such as the Viaduct Harbour fenceline flags. The artwork was also reproduced as large scale banners which were then positioned throughout the Viaduct area and captured via drone by Petra Leary. Each bespoke flag exists both as a static graphic element for physical executions in addition to animated counterparts for use across social media.
